England Touch Association bolsters Board strength

England Touch has deepened the strength of the Association’s Board with the addition of four new Non-Executive Directors.

The quartet are:

Jeremy Hill (elected). Jeremy is a global business leader, having held senior leadership roles in strategy delivery and business development. Jeremy and his family have also been heavily involved in club, regional and national Touch for a number of years.

Kylie Hutchison (appointed). As well as being the world’s most capped player, having hit the 150-appearance mark during the recent European Touch Championships, Kylie brings sports judiciary, integrity and governance experience to the Board, in addition to knowledge gained through her established career in international injury law.

Caroline Prosser (appointed). Caroline has over 20 years’ experience in employment, education and immigration law, providing strategic and operational advice to organisations across various sectors. Caroline is a stalwart of Women's Touch, representing domestically and as part of the EuroStars.

Dr Alex Powell (appointed). Alex has had a long career in both education and competitive sport, having designed a BSc in Sports Coaching Science, and founding and leading coaching communities in the Midlands.

England Touch Chair, Tim Loveridge, welcomed the four new Directors, saying that the combination of Touch and business experience will help take the Association continue its development.

“As an Association we want Non-Executive Directors who can positively check and challenge our operational leadership, and whose professional and personal experience can help us overcome our challenges in imaginative ways,” he said.

“We’re in an exciting time, having enjoyed another successful European Championships and successfully hosted a second major international Youth competition in three years.

“Capitalising on these events, and the other exciting initiatives we are delivering, is going to be really important as we build a sustainable future, on and off the pitch.”
