Touch Rugby is a perfect game for Secondary Schools. The sport develops a range of skills to benefit the physical literacy of children of all ages and abilities, in a context which can be both competitive or social. Of course Touch Rugby can be played in either friendly fixtures or in tournaments, too, with boys and girls able to play on the same team.

England Touch, which received Sport England recognition in 2023, has developed a range of resources, lesson plans and introductory games to develop all of those core skills which will be needed in a match situation.
