ETA Board positions open for applications

The England Touch Association is now accepting applications to join its Board of Directors as Chair and Non-Executive Directors.
The Chair and Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) provide a creative contribution to the England Touch Association's Board. The Chair and the six NEDs help the organisation set its Vision, Mission and Strategy, and provide a check and challenge of the Executive Officers.
The Board meets 4-5 times per year with the Executive team to review performance, identify issues and opportunities, and discuss other pertinent matters around governance, finance, appointments, and standards of conduct.
The role of the Chair is to provide leadership and direction to the Board, enabling them to fulfil the responsibilities for the overall governance and strategic direction of the organisation.
The role of the NEDs is to act in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors and Executive Management team by bringing a breadth of business and management knowledge and experience for the benefit of the ETA and the sport of Touch in England.
This year we are seeking to appoint the following positions:
- The Chair
- 3 Elected NEDs
- 2 Appointed NEDs
As all these roles are two-year fixed-term appointments, our current Chair and two current Elected NEDs are standing for re-election.
The Chair and elected NEDs will be elected at the forthcoming AGM on Sunday 27 April 2025.
The Appointed NED roles will be made by the Board after the AGM.

Applications will be accepted no later than 11:59pm on Sunday 23 March 2025.
