Volunteers needed - Atlantic Youth Touch Cup

The inaugural Atlantic Youth Touch Cup will be hosted at the University of Nottingham from Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd July 2023. 

The event will feature teams from across Europe, South Africa, the USA, the Cayman Islands and China, as well as seven teams from England. It is expected to be the largest international Youth Touch event this year.

Like most other sports events, its successful delivery will rely heavily on volunteers, and over the last few years the dedication, positivity and enthusiasm of the event team at repeated European Touch Championships has made them earn praise from participating teams and supporters.

Roles include event set-up, branding, social media, broadcast support, event support, scoring, administration, event welfare and more.

Volunteers will be provided with event merchandise as well as meals and drinks throughout the day. Volunteers can do as little as one shift, or as many as they would like through the week.

With a year to go until the Touch World Cup this is also an opportunity to introduce more people to Touch, and have nations from outside Europe get a flavour of the welcome they will receive in Nottingham in 2024, too!
