Andy Penniceard, a director at TRY Sports, says: “We are delighted for TRY Sports to partner with the ETA to grow Touch Rugby in UK schools.
“Our shared goal is to enrich young lives through sports and promote teamwork, inclusion, and support the physical, social and mental well-being of students. Together, we'll have more opportunities for growth and community engagement, expanding the reach of Touch Rugby even further.
“We're thrilled about the synergy between Try Sports and the ETA and look forward to achieving impactful results together.”
TRY Sports were a delivery partner for England Touch’s schools events earlier in 2023, and General Manager, Sammie Phillips, is delighted to have formalised this partnership for 2024.
“Having TRY Sports as a partner for schools events going into 2024 is a key agreement for England Touch, and it is fantastic that we will be working closely together,” she commented. “TRY Sports has a very experienced team of coaches, and we saw earlier in the year how engaged and energised the students and teachers alike were, especially by the skills sessions.
“We are seeing more and more interest coming from schools across the country, and everyone at England Touch is looking forward to an exciting 2024!”
