There are several vacancies in the High Performance Programme and applications are now open!
The England Touch High Performance Programme goes from strength to strength each year, and once again we are moving into a phase of unprecedented growth.
After another hugely successful European Touch Championships, it is full steam ahead as we prepare for the 2023 European Touch Championships and the 2024 Touch World Cup that we are hosting for the first time in our history.
We are recruiting for both senior administrative and strategic roles as well as Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Management roles.
High Performance Panel Vacancies
High Performance Finance Manager
Role Purpose
- The post holder will be responsible for supporting the High Performance (HP) team in the organisation and administration of international tournaments focusing on finances, budgets, and player payments.
- Extent of duration covers from pre-tournament preparation through to the closing ceremony, wrap up meeting and closure of accounts and reporting.
- The post holder will be part of the High-Performance Panel and will therefore contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the England Touch High Performance Programme.

High Performance Senior Vacancies
High Performance Youth Lead on Elite Logistics
Role Purpose
- The post holder will be responsible for the organisation and administration of and at international Youth tournaments.
- Extent of duration covers the entire Youth campaign, pre-tournament preparation through to the closing ceremony, wrap up meeting and closure of accounts and reporting.

High Performance Youth Lead Coach
Role Purpose
- To assist the coaching team in the compilation of player reports following talent identification events and to provide feedback where required.
- To assist in the compilation of content for High Performance Training Programmes and to advise on the technical aspects of skill delivery and tactical game play.
- To assess both the players’ and coaches’ performances during games and to provide feedback on this to players, coaches, and the Youth High Performance Team.
- To reside within the sub box during tournament games and provide technical and tactical support to the youth coaching team and players.
- To attend training sessions to assist in the delivery of the Youth High Performance Training Programmes and to work 1 to 1, in groups or with entire squads, as discussed with the Head Coach(es) of the relevant Youth teams.
- To provide coaching professional development (CPD) to our Youth High Performance Coaching Team on the job as well as in workshop form during training weekends

Other High Performance Vacancies
National Squad Team Operations Managers
Role Purpose
- Be responsible for the organisation and administration of their allocated team from pre- tournament preparation through to post-tournament wrap up meeting
- Work within a matrix management environment with the England High Performance team (specifically Head of Elite Operations), with a dotted line management to the Head Coach of their respective national team

High Performance Analyst
Role Purpose
- Assist the High Performance National Coaching teams and High Performance Athletes in technical, tactical, and statistical analysis.
- Work in a team alongside the Head Coach, any other Assistant Coaches, Team Operations Manager, Medical Team Personnel and High Performance Personnel.
- Talent Identify (at elite standard domestic competitions tournaments), assist with selection (at Touch Nationals and Final Selection Camps), coach (in accordance with the High Performance Programme) and assist the Head Coach in leading their National Squad in the training sessions and competitions within the campaign cycle; and
- Assist the England Touch Association High Performance Team as and when required.
