Everything up for grabs in Elite NTS finale
The Elite National Touch Series is set for a gripping finale this Saturday at Banbury Rugby Club.
Galaxy London, NQ Rebels and Nottingham Hoods all come into Round 3 with 90 league points, with NQ and Galaxy having won the Cup title in Rounds 1 and 2 respectively, and Nottingham having reached both Cup finals.
So the equation is simple – whoever reaches the further in the competition this weekend wins, and takes the title back to the capital, north west or midlands respectively.
As always, there will be plenty of teams looking to take down the front runners, with Galaxy paired with London Eagles 1, Oxford and Exeter in Pool A, NQ having a tough Pool C alongside Cambridge Hornets, Crewe and Nantwich and London Eagles 2, and Nottingham facing Revolution, PFT and Bristol in Pool B.
Meanwhile London Scorpions, Wigan, Cambridge Bees and Raptors will be looking to build plenty of momentum in Pool D.
All of the contenders will be featured in the morning’s live stream, along with London Eagles 1, Cambridge Hornets, Scorpions and Wigan, so wherever you are make sure you have access to YouTube and plenty of wifi or data!
The game’s first match taps off at 10am, with the Cup final at 5pm.
Everyone playing, refereeing, coaching or supporting at Banbury needs to read our advice for staying healthy in the heat this weekend, with highs of 27 degrees forecast by mid-afternoon.
