Elite National Touch Series Round 2 preview

The Elite National Touch Series heads back to Banbury this Sunday, July 11th, for Round 2.

If Round 1 was anything to go by then another day of extremely competitive Touch is in store. Hot Custard have been paired with BBR, Wigan Touch Warriors with Thames Valley Vikings, CSSC London Eagles 1 with NQ Rebels, Raptors with Cambridge Hornets and CSSC London Eagles 2 and Nottingham Hoods with Galaxy London, Cambridge Bees and Revolution.

With qualification for the Cup quarter finals going to several decimal places in Round 1 all the teams will be knowing that nothing more than tries will do as they go for a place in the top eight, and attacking will be the name of the game!

Pools have been drawn based on the finishing positions in Round 1, and the morning’s live streaming slots have been allocated so that by the time it comes to lunchtime every team who has been in both Rounds 1 and 2 will have been shown at least once.

The tap off for the first game will be 10:00am, with a slightly extended lunchtime to allow for the afternoon to proceed without a hitch!
