England Touch Covid-19 update | Mon 04/01/20
Following this evening's announcement by the Prime Minister, England Touch has issued the following advice to all clubs and individuals.
As of this evening (Mon 04/01/21) all team-based Touch activity must now cease. This applies to clubs and groups of friends across England and includes group fitness sessions and ball skill work, as well as training and matches. Any fitness conducted via video conferencing is permitted, as it was in the spring.
England Touch is therefore now in Stage 1: Prepare and will remain in this stage until further notice.

Households and support bubbles are able to exercise away from your house once per day, and individuals can meet with one other person outdoors for exercise once per day. You should not travel outside your local area to do so.
You cannot leave your home to meet socially with anyone you do not live with and are not in a support bubble with and should stay two metres apart from anyone not in your household.

The entire country remains in unprecedented times and we urge everyone in the Touch family to follow the guidance to help bring the pandemic under control, protecting themselves and those they care about.
Despite this lockdown the England Touch management is continuing to plan for a summer season and to grow the sport across all sections of society to help improve physical and mental health once we are able to return to the playing fields.
We wish everyone in the Touch family the best of health.
Any specific questions can be emailed to returntoplay@englandtouch.org.uk or your club representative can ask it via the Return to Play WhatsApp group.
