England Touch’s Volunteers of the Year
Over the last few days the England Touch Association received nominations from clubs across the country for the 2020 Volunteers of the Year.
The nominations were very inspiring and it has been wonderful to see the dedication of volunteers and the impact they have across the Touch community.
As this year is no ordinary year, we have decided to recognise all of our nominees. Each of the individuals listed below has committed their time and effort to further the game of Touch, helping keep members engaged across the country.
Many congratulations to each and every one of them, and they will receive a £50 voucher for the England Touch online shop to kick off the new year!

“In the absence of our annual Awards and celebration evening this year, we wanted to recognise at least some of those that have helped keep our game being played during the pandemic,” commented England Touch’s Head of Volunteers, Nikola Halse.
“We know there are so many more that have helped keep touch going during such a challenging year and it would be great to find out what other clubs and leagues have been doing. Please get in contact and let us know so we can promote your efforts! We now have over 100 affiliated clubs and leagues and it would be great to them all behind our Awards in 2021.”
Further details on plans for 2021 will be provided once a clearer picture of next year emerges.
In the meantime, congratulations to all of our award winners in 2020 and many thanks to everyone across the country who has helped keep the sport of Touch going during these uncertain times.
