Head Coach and Assistant Coach vacancies for England national teams

A number of vacancies are open for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches within the England High Performance team.

Head Coach roles are open for the following teams:

Men's 30s
Mixed 30s
Men’s 40s (player-coach acting in this role until suitable non-playing coach appointed)
Men’s 50s (player-coach acting in this role until suitable non-playing coach appointed)

Assistant Coach roles are open for all teams, except Men's Open.

In order for the England national teams to continue their improvement over the past few years and to be increasingly competitive at world level all applicants should have been coaching at least at Nationals level and have relevant England Touch/FIT qualifications (Level 2 for Head Coaches, Level 1 for Assistant Coaches).

Appointments will be made for the next four-year World Cup cycle, with a review in 2021.

The appointment panel includes Sammie Phillips (Head of Elite Performance), Peter Bell (England Head Coach) and Kylie Hutchison (High Performance Consultant).
