Honours shared in Chester
The 2019 club season tapped off in the north-west, and there were plenty of different teams heading home with silverware from the Cheshire County Sports Club.
STEEDEN DEVELOPMENT NATIONAL TOUCH SERIES
Manchester Chargers were the first Cup winners of the year after enjoying an unbeaten day. After topping Pool B with three wins and a draw from their four matches the Chargers had three tight knockout games, but with narrow wins over Norwich Rebels (4-3), Yorkshire Thorns (4-2) and Nomads (4-3) they had plenty to celebrate overnight!
Norwich Rebels (Plate), Bristol Fijians (Bowl), CSSC (Shield) and newcomers Peterborough Tropics (Salver) were the other winners of the day, and it was fantastic to have 20 teams take part, three for the first time.
