It's the first action of 2018!

England Touch will have its first action of 2018 this weekend as the University Touch Series hits Loughborough University.

Ten teams are heading to the Midlands as the UTS resumes after its Christmas break.

Exeter will be looking to consolidate their place at the top of the standings, but with Bath, Bristol and hosts Loughborough all within 20 league points and breathing down the south-westerners’ necks the Touch action will no doubt be fast and furious!

Four teams – Northumbria, Birmingham, Edinburgh and the University of East Anglia – will be making their 2017/18 UTS bows as the competition continues to grow in new areas.

Pool match games will be 20 minutes, with the knockout matches being two halves of 13 minutes.

The first games are at 10am on Saturday, with the finals at 4:30pm. We’ll be having regular updates throughout the day on the England Touch Facebook and Instagram pages!
