Board of Directors completed for 2018
England Touch has completed the Association’s Non-Executive Board of Directors with the appointment of Nicola Moloney.
Moloney is another experienced addition to the group of Non-Executive Directors supporting England Touch’s development, having worked for over 17 years in a number of major sporting events, notably as Head of Major Events and Competitions for England Badminton and as Competition Manager with England Squash.
England Touch’s competition structures are at the heart of the Association’s strategic growth at all levels, from the inaugural National Schools Tournament that is happening later this year, through to the ever-expanding University National Touch Series to the re-vamped Elite and Developing National Touch Series for clubs and the Touch Nationals for Junior, adult, senior and masters teams.
“Nicola has a passion for delivering major sporting events, and her experience and skillset in this area is important for us,” commented Chief Operating Officer Gregg Cropper.
“We are four months away from hosting the European Touch Championships so her appointment is also timely, but Nicola will also be able to support the strategic growth of all our competitions, which give our clubs and players the framework to develop.”
