The England Touch Association has a number of management vacancies available for the build-up towards the 2018 European Touch Championships.
BOARD LEVELGOVERNANCE DIRECTORRole purpose:
- To support the ETA in achieving its strategic vision
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and a commitment to best practice
- Implementation and self-assessment of the Sport and Recreation Alliance voluntary code of good governance
- Maintain effective relationships and accountability among internal and external stakeholders

FINANCE DIRECTORRole purpose:
The Finance Director role oversees for the financial management and reporting of the England Touch Association. This is a hands-on role that encompasses budget setting, transaction management and reporting of financial information to the executive committee and wider association. In addition, the Finance Director is also involved in IT systems, taxation, compliance and risk management.

HIGH PERFORMANCE DIRECTORRole purpose:
- To lead and implement strategies and plans to ensure the sustained success of England Touch teams across all senior and junior age divisions at the international elite level for the annual campaign cycle
- Lead the coaches and staff of the high performance team, ensuring that the input and contributions of all stakeholders is maximised and aligned to the agreed direction
- To ensure the on-going development of England Touch elite athletes and coaches

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORRole purpose:
- Act in an advisory capacity by bringing a breadth of business and management knowledge and experience from a professional background for the benefit of the England Touch Association and the sport of Touch
- Constructively review, challenge and make creative contributions in the development and implementations of the ETA’s strategy
- Contribute to building a trusted network of partners, stakeholders and business contacts
- Scrutinise executive activity and monitor ETA performance in meeting agreed goals and objectives
- Provide an independent view and broad perspective to the Board’s decision-making process

OPERATIONALEVENTS MANAGERRole purpose:
- Responsible for delivering a range of tournaments for all ages and standards of players to compete in across England
- To provide the opportunity for England Touch to nurture talent and improve standards of performance of all involved in Touch through regular high class competition

COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIPS AND SPONSORSHIP MANAGERRole purpose:
- To develop and deliver the ETA’s commercial strategy and to realise significant commercial sponsorship revenue to the benefit of the ETA, to in turn help sustain and improve England’s world and European standings
- Development of sponsorship proposals for acquisition. Negotiate, secure and manage on behalf of the ETA all sponsorship, value-in-kind partnerships and licensing agreements
- Effectively oversee the management of key relationships and commercial/sponsor partners, including servicing and fulfilling sponsorship requirements across the ETA’s commercial portfolio
- The successful candidate will help to contribute to the ETA’s strategic and operational priorities while supporting business development activities

SECRETARYRole purpose:
- Lead administrator for the ETA
- To support the committee members in their roles
- Take a leading role in organising the annual general meeting and strategic planning weekend

PERFORMANCESTRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACHRole purpose:
- To provide strength and conditioning support to England national team coaches and players
- To provide guidance to players and coaches regarding best practice in relation to strength training and conditioning
- To liaise with the medical and sports science teams to deliver strength and conditioning programmes in line with ETA performance targets
- To develop individual and team assessments and appropriate management strategies
- To provide support during international tournaments, including recovery, well-being, muscle function, movement demands, and physiological responses to match play and other matters

SPORTS PSYCHOLOGISTRole purpose:
- To develop a holistic approach underpinned by evidence-based practice to support both athletes and coaches in their preparation for international competition, and then during the tournaments
- To liaise with elite coaches and the ETA’s medical and sports science teams to ensure the ongoing development of England Touch elite athletes

NATIONAL TEAM MANAGERSNational Squad Team Managers are responsible for the organisation and administration of their allocated team from pre-tournament preparation through to post-tournament wrap-up meetings.
Team Managers need to have demonstrable team management experience, delivering within pressurised environments with multiple stakeholders. NATIONAL TEAM ASSISTANT COACHESRole purpose:
- Responsible for supporting their head coach in the training camp and helping to lead their team in the 2018 international season
- To work within a matrix environment with the England High Performance team, within the line management structure of their respective national team
