ETC2016 England Teams announced

It is with great excitement that we are able to formally announce the 9 England Teams that will be representing England Touch at the 2016 European Championships this summer, in Jersey.

To those who have not made a team this year...

Commiserations, you are no doubt extremely disappointed. Collectively, we recognise your commitment shown to date – your contribution to the 2016 national squads makes us stronger as a Touch-playing nation in Europe and globally. Hopefully you will have learnt and developed as a player in this campaign, and no doubt there will be future opportunities for you to represent.

For those who are reserves...

You too will be equally disappointed, knowing that you were so close to selection, but you need to ensure you keep fit and stay motivated; it is 11 weeks until the tournament and plenty can happen in that time.

To selected players...

Well done. However, there is still plenty of hard work to do through to the tournament.
