Happy New Year!
Reviewing 2015
It's been a pretty epic year for #EnglandTouch: We sent 7 teams to the Touch World Cup 2015 in Australia, coming away joint 3rd and with 3 bronze medals.
We successfully hosted the first stand alone Junior Touch Championships in Nottingham, culminating in winning 3 Silver Medals.
Our #TouchNationals were bigger than ever as we begin to build into our next cycle whilst introducing lots of new players into the sport.
We are now all looking forward and are very excited for 2016:
Our Belief NTS/ Sporttape CTS events will be hosted by ourselves, the ever growing Steeden DTS goes more regional and the UTS will flourish getting a new age of players playing Touch.
The Nationals will see even more categories including 2 x 15s, 4 x 18s, 2 x W27s and many more mixed sides too.
We will also see the introduction of men's and women's competitions too, to assist the single gender game over the summer.
Jersey Touch will host the European Touch Championships, where we will aim to retain our title(s) as we look to enter all available categories. Touch Nederland is set to host the #JTC2016, with the new mixed 15s division along with the 3 X 18s.
Busy and exciting times for Touch in England... Here's how to #GetInvolved
