2016 AGM

Dear members,

All members of the ETA are invited to attend and participate in the annual AGM/OGM meeting(s). All league operators, clubs or venues affiliated to England Touch are invited to send one representative, or committee member, on its behalf. We also welcome attendance from any league or club interested in becoming affiliated to England Touch.

Date: Sunday 21st February 2016
Venue: Manchester
Time: 09:00 – 10:00 (AGM). 10:00 - 13:00 (OGM). Timings are approximate.

Please respond via this link, no later than Friday 8th Jan 2016 to be included in further email communication, confirming your attendance and/or proxy vote.

The AGM agenda is set, however if there is anything specific that you would like to raise or discuss in the OGM, submit these via the above link too.

Elections for Executive

During the AGM, elections will be held for the following:

CEO (Formerly President)
Tournaments Director
Governance Director
Finance Director (recruited independently and appointed by the Executive)
Technical Director
High Performance Director

People wishing to stand for one of these executive positions are required to do 3 things:

Be nominated and seconded by another member of the ETA.

Note. The current appointed incumbent do not need to submit election of office form, but do need to indicate that they’re looking to re-stand. Only if no nominations have been received in advance of the AGM will may be accepted from the floor during the meeting.

Elections for Committee

Appointments of other positions on the ETA committee may be made at the same meeting (by the elected executive committee, comprised as per positions above). These roles are:

Marketing & PR Manager
Referee Manager
Membership, Affiliation & Insurance Manager
Development Manager
Medical Services Manager (recruited independently and appointed by the Executive)

People wishing to stand for one of these committee positions are required to do 3 things:
