Manchester NTS CTS double header
Thanks to everyone for such a successful weekend, great to have so many teams turn out, we had 34 teams and around 40 full time referees, a great testament to the growth of our sport in England!
Hopefully the weather didn't dampen your weekend too much, ironically the sun came out as the final hooter went and was cracking the flags the week after! But, that said, everyone seemed to enjoy the weekend and there was some great Touch on display.
Thanks to Broughton Park for hosting us and making the food, especially Rob Jones and Kit Brammer, they were a great help!
A huge thanks to Emma Knott and her team of physios and sports therapists who were around all weekend taping people up.
Thanks to Shelley Grace, the nationals director of referees for England Touch. Rallying the troops in yellow from all over Europe for the weekends double header was a huge yet very successful task.
Many thanks also go to Kevin Hill, the ETA tournament director. He was unphased by the obstacles encountered over the tournament(s) and instrumental in the running of the whole weekend.
Finally, thanks to Gregg Cropper and Julie Walker from the host club. They worked tirelessly pre/during/post tournament to ensure that everything was in place for the 550+ players and referees attending, as well as playing in it too. No mean feat as you can only imagine!
