The future for England Touch
NEXT STEPS: The future for England Touch
On the back of the recent growth in Touch participation at all levels across the country and the performance of the National Squad at the recent World Cup in Edinburgh we are looking to the future and how we build on these successes, and a vital next step for England Touch is to bolster the ETA Executive and Operational board.
If you are involved in Touch at whatever level from supporter to elite player, and feel that you would like to contribute to continuing the success of England Touch we would love to hear from you!
The ETA consists of a small dedicated group of volunteers, which will meet roughly once every 2-3 months at various locations throughout England. We™re looking to recruit a few more enthusiastic volunteers for various roles within the committee to progress.
We have a variety of areas open for you to get involved in: these include (but are not limited to) various development roles within the sport (especially in key areas of Youth, Womens and Regional development), roles within the High Performance team (including coaches and team managers) and also administrative roles within the PR/Marketing Teams in addition to the positions of Secretary.
Along with the above areas and following a re-structure of the ETA, the following 3 positions have become vacant, on the Executive Board,
- Vice President
- Technical Director
- Statutory Director
if you would like to stand for any of these roles, please use the contact details below.
These roles are currently being finalised and in the meantime we would like to hear from all involved in Touch to gather your thoughts and ideas for furthering the bright future of the sport in this country, so please email if you have any input.
If you would like to play a larger part please put together a brief description of your current relevant experience and how you would like to assist in developing England Touch.
